As a player who has spent years in Free Fire, I’ve watched the game evolve—and I’ve also watched it stumble. This isn’t a rant; it’s a constructive wish list. If the developers address these issues, I believe the hype can return and old players will come back.
First, a genuine thank you. After a long gap, Free Fire hosted an Esports LAN event in India—that’s a huge win. I hope we see a clear roadmap with more domestic tournaments, not just in India but also in Bangladesh and Nepal. Bangladeshi players are already competing internationally, and Nepali talent deserves the same platform. Regional events can reignite passion across South Asia.
The Prime Store system (Prime 1–8) gives early event access to high spenders. Every month, a new drop arrives, but only those with high Prime levels get it first. This creates an unfair advantage for big payers and YouTubers, while the rest of the community waits. Events are a core part of the fun—everyone should experience them at the same time.
Rank resets are another pain point. Currently, Grandmasters and Top 100 players land in Diamond 5, while lower-ranked players drop to Bronze. One game streamer I know (call him Aju Bhai) goes from Grandmaster to Diamond 5, then reaches Heroic in one match. Meanwhile, a Platinum player like me has to grind 80 more hours to catch up. That’s not a fresh start—it’s a head start for the elite. My proposal: reset every account to the same baseline—either Bronze 1 or 1000 points—at the start of each season. This applies to both BR and CS. It would create genuine competition, help new streamers emerge, and make rank pushing exciting again.
Hackers and panel sellers still dominate the CS leaderboard. Level 30 accounts somehow sit in the regional top 10. Manual anti-cheat checks every 48 hours would catch many of them, and we need aggressive takedowns of Instagram and YouTube accounts promoting hacks. There’s also the issue of revive mechanics. Tokens, soul days, and heart revives have made death meaningless. I suggest capping revives: one from token, one from heart, one from solo/duo. If you die three times, you’re out. That brings back the seriousness that made Free Fire tense and rewarding.
After every OB update, many players (myself included) experience severe lag. The game shows 50 ping but feels like 500–600. Even YouTube runs smoothly in SD, yet in-game movement is jittery for days. Please prioritize networking and server fixes.
Another frustrating pattern: after a long Booyah streak (30–50 wins), players get automatically blacklisted or temporarily banned. In the Bangladesh server, 50 consecutive Booyahs can trigger a 3-day suspension. Instead of punishing legitimate skill, have a manual review system with faster customer support. Genuine abuse (e.g., hacks) should be permanently banned, but false positives hurt the community. The remaining support issues—like fake ID reports, invite spam, and proxy-based impersonation—follow the same pattern: they all need quicker, more transparent handling.
Rarity matters. Reissuing items from Season 1 and 2 makes them feel common. Even two-year-old players have everything now, which kills the excitement of owning something unique. Please keep some items exclusive.
On the bright side: this year’s World Series included random players, which felt inclusive. Indian festival events (Diwali, P90 rewards, home decorations, sweets distribution) were fantastic. The Bring Back event offered financial support to help players return home during festivals. Those touches—event goodies, redeem codes with real value—show that the team cares. More of that, please.
I’ve been a creator for seven years because I love this game. Every suggestion here is meant to improve Free Fire, not tear it down. If the devs act on matchmaking fairness, anti-cheat enforcement, revive balance, and server performance, I’m confident players will return and the hype will reignite. What do you think? Let’s keep pushing for a better game together.
