The latest update for ARC Raiders arrives with the Converging Paths Project and the Forgotten Relics event, along with significant changes to matchmaking, a wave of bug fixes, and expanded anti-cheat measures. Here’s what you need to know about this patch, from the new seasonal objectives to the quality-of-life improvements and ongoing investigations.
Running from June 16 through July 27, the Converging Paths Project tasks you with securing safe passage for nomads, gathering supplies, and recovering forgotten relics from Topside. Each completed stage advances a Display Case that showcases the relics you uncover along the way. Finishing the project rewards you with the Red-Black color variant of the Saltwalker Outfit, a Sextant backpack charm, and Raider Tokens—bringing the total earnable this season to 300.
The Forgotten Relics event runs alongside the project. You earn Merits automatically from XP gained on any map—no manual conversion needed. For extra Merits, search containers like lockers, drawers, and crates for relics; each relic’s rarity determines its Merit value, and you must extract with it to claim the points. Merits unlock rewards including the Saltwalker Outfit and its toggles, and progression in Forgotten Relics also feeds into the Converging Paths project.
Free loadouts are temporarily disabled for the Night Raid and Close Scrutiny map conditions for a three-week test. This raises the barrier to entry, forcing you to commit your own gear and accept appropriate risk in these loot-rich scenarios. The developers will analyze feedback and may extend this limitation to other map conditions in the future.
This patch addresses a wide range of issues. On the combat side, aiming-down-sights accuracy has been corrected for several weapons, the Rocketeer now drops Launcher Ammo instead of Heavy Ammo, and the Firefly no longer drops an incendiary grenade without being destroyed. Environment fixes prevent you from falling through the map near Fireballs, Pop parts, and Pilgrim’s Peak, and knocked-out players no longer block Barricades from expanding. Audio improvements include clearer extraction announcements, better footstep volumes, and enhanced audio cues for Raider Caches. Inventory and UI fixes cover correct stack sizes at Ermal, adding input shortcuts for gamepad (Sell, Recycle, Repair, Salvage, Drop), and resolving jitter in health/armor bars. The in-game countdown for Map Conditions now appears only 60 minutes before they go live, and the free loadout warning correctly accounts for inventory space. Other fixes address animation glitches (T-posing after sprint dodge roll, long weapons detaching after vaulting), Sandveil outfit stretching, and damage tracking for expeditions that now excludes squad damage. Remaining fixes—including quest objective ordering, console menu cancellations, and loadout clearing—follow a similar pattern of targeted corrections.
The fight against unfair play continues with the expansion of Denuvo Anti-Cheat to more players, alongside focused countermeasures against item duplication. You will now receive two types of inbox notifications: Action Notice confirms a ban on a player you reported, and Loot Compensation automatically returns your lost gear if a cheater knocked you out—no report needed. If both apply, you may receive both messages at once.
The team is investigating lower PC FPS (try updating or rolling back GPU drivers), Xbox Series S crashes, Quick Wheel oddities, and various animation edge-cases (e.g., weapon swap after vaulting, interrupted Baron Husk searches). Other reported issues include the Dolabra, Hullcracker, and Rascal not damaging training dummies; the Trigger ‘Nade sometimes failing its throw animation; and Shredders floating to the ceiling in the Hidden Bunker. The Saltwalker preview may show incorrect toggle counts, and the Access Capacitor Rack may spawn without batteries. Weapon swap and pickup sound inconsistencies are also on the radar.

In arc raiders, you step into the boots of a scavenger raiding a machine-dominated Earth, where every surface run is a high-stakes blend of PvE threats and rival player ambushes.
The game’s Steam reception highlights its gripping atmosphere and refined visuals, though the severe death penalties can be frustrating, yet recent reviews lean strongly positive.
With dynamic weather, evolving maps, and a deep gear-progression loop, each expedition forces hard choices about when to fight, flee, or betray.
